Equipment Maintenance Tech

What you'd do

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; read schematics and PLC fault codes. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance. Lift 50 lbs; work at heights/confined spaces. Rotating shifts and on-call coverage.

Education

AAS Electronics or Mechatronics

Experience

2–4 yrs semiconductor or precision equipment maintenance

Certifications / training

Vacuum systems, RF power, OSHA 10

Career pathway

OCC / SUNY Poly feeder programs; on-call required
